NorthClad® is proud to offer Formica® VIVIX material for use with the NorthClad® EF Series exposed fastener panel system. VIVIX is a flat panel material created using "thermosetting resins reinforced with cellulose fibers produced under high temperature and pressure". The result is an extremely durable, highly weather-resistant product which is very resistant to flexing making it perfect for exterior applications utilizing the NorthClad® EF Series attachment system.

The panels' Class A fire-rated core is compressed between two UV and scratch resistant matte finish color layers. VIVIX panels are available in (3) standard thicknesses: 5/16" (8 mm), 3/8" (9.5 mm), and 1/2" (12.7 mm).

Certification and LEED® Information:

• VIVIX has been tested and certified to Greenguard & Greenguard childrens' in schools standards which can contribute to IEQ 4.4 & 4.5 within the LEED® Standard for Building Construction.
• Formica holds FSC Chain of custody certification. Certificate
• VIVIX is uses FSC certified materials, that can contribute towards LEED® MR 7 Credit: Certified Wood.
• VIVIX contains 3% recycled content which may contribute towards LEED® MR4 Credit: Recycled Content.
• VIVIX contains 6% eucalyptus content which may contribute towards LEED® MR6 Credit: Rapidly Renewable.
• VIVIX is manufactured within North America, which may contribute towards LEED® MR5 Credit: Regional Materials.
• VIVIX is manufactured within North America and therefore qualifies within Buy America.
• VIVIX contains around 60% natural wood products.
